Missed a week! Here's what I've been up to..

Been so busy that I have been slacking on updates. Been contemplating starting a Vlog, but without the sufficient camera equipment, for now I will try to stay more up to date on my blog posts here. I'll give you the quick run down of the last week.

As far as the car goes I snagged some smoked Laminx for the headlights and liked it so much I ordered the same for the rear bumper reflectors. Got the email that they have arrived at home, so those were installed late this evening (see below).

Gun Smoke Laminx for the rear bumper reflectors, from ECS Tuning.

Also trying to find an RS3 grill that's not $1400!! Let me know if you see one with the adaptive cruise control sensor hole!!!

RS3 Grill

In my personal life, I have been working crazy hours and feeling lately like I'm not doing enough to really enjoy life instead of just living it. So, I am looking into new hobbies and things to enjoy.. If anyone has some suggestions just shoot some ideas to me!

I spent some time at the fire station today since I had the day off. I did a truck check on our Rescue truck and smoked a good Muwat KFC Cigar.

Sat down to just relax for a minute after the truck check.

Gunsmoke Laminx on the S3!

So the covers came in the mail yesterday and I had them on about 10 minutes later!

Very good product for the money. Not only does it look way better, but it also protects the headlights. Win win!

Below is what they looked like previously.

Very happy with the switch!

More things to come soon. Black wheels and suspension are on the list for soon.

I love this RS4

I keep seeing this pig in Bridgeville and I LOVE it.

Obviously my S3 is more in focus than said RS4

Jon Olsson's RS6DTM

I just love this car!! Wide body, Adv. 1 Wheels, big brake kit, Milltek Race Exhaust, twin turbos anodized in 18k gold, and new suspension! Photos by Oskar Bakke.  I'd love to have something like this for this summer or next winter. Need to start planning.

337

So in January I picked up a 2002 Volkswagen GTI 337 from my friend in Cape May, NJ. The 337 is 1 of 1200 made. They all came in Reflex Silver with Black Recaro interior. The car had 125k miles on it but drives great. The interior is in mint condition but the exterior needs some work. This should be a fun project.

Black Recaro Seats with red stitching.

Over the next few weeks I'll be working on suspension, body work, lights, and performance.

Interior is in mint condition.

Quick video

Cruised out to Oktoberfest 2014 thrown by Next Level Tuning and took some quick video footage. My boy Big Marc rode with me and caravanned with a decent sized group of really cool people.

Hope you enjoy.

DUBMOTION- Image is Everything.

Old Lightroom preset, newer R32.

I used to use an edit preset I found online called "Wizels" and loved it on my old MKIV R32 which happened to be the same color as the MKV R32 (tornado red).

Above is the newer R32 (the MKV). So much more time and money has been put in to this car than the MKIV below but I still hold them equal. The one below was so cool and fun to drive!

This car was just about as good as it gets.  Happy to have had the 2 different R32s in the same color so that they are easily compared; red cars with black wheels are probably my favorite thing. Low and loud!

Launch with the GoPro Camera

So I got to test out the gopro camera today with the suction cup mount. Really cool that you can use the wireless remote or gopro app on the iphone to control it.

Just a short video of launching the car with the launch control from the united motorsports dsg transmission tune. I still love this car so much.

GoPro Camera

Snagged a gopro camera this week but haven't done too much with it. Should be a blast for car shows, cruises, and outdoor activities!
